Launch Terminal

Everything you need.
Nothing to install.

SSHDock provides the power of a native terminal emulator, engineered entirely for the modern web browser.

Multi-tab Sessions & Split Panes

Run multiple servers side-by-side or in a split-pane view.

Unlike basic terminal emulators, SSHDock provides a full window manager inside your browser tab. You can open multiple SSH connections simultaneously in separate tabs, or split your screen vertically and horizontally to monitor logs on one server while executing commands on another. The terminal state persists across tab switches, ensuring you never lose context.

Zero-Knowledge Local Storage

Your credentials never leave the browser.

Security is the core foundation of SSHDock. When you add a server profile or paste an RSA/Ed25519 private key, that data is encrypted and saved exclusively to your browser's IndexedDB local storage. We do not have a centralized database of users, and your keys are never transmitted to our backend. The SSH handshake and encryption happen client-side using WebAssembly.

Private Key Authentication

Support for RSA and Ed25519 PEM keys.

Password authentication is a security risk. SSHDock fully supports private key authentication via RSA (2048-bit and 4096-bit) and the modern, highly secure Ed25519 algorithm. You can simply paste the contents of your .pem file into the connection configuration. No need to convert keys using PuTTYgen or struggle with formatting issues.

Jump Host (Bastion) Tunneling

Connect through bastion servers automatically.

Accessing private VPC resources usually requires complex ProxyCommand configurations or manual tunneling. SSHDock has native ProxyJump support built into the connection form. Simply specify your bastion host IP and credentials, and SSHDock will automatically establish the secure tunnel through the bastion to reach your internal, private instances.

Local & Remote Port Forwarding

Forward ports securely over SSH.

Need to access a private database or internal web dashboard? SSHDock allows you to configure local and remote port forwarding directly from the UI. Once the SSH session is established, your browser will route traffic through the encrypted SSH tunnel, giving you secure access to internal services without exposing them to the public internet.

Built-in SFTP File Manager

Upload and download files directly.

Terminal access is great, but sometimes you just need to upload a configuration file or download a log archive. SSHDock includes an integrated SFTP browser. You can navigate your server's filesystem visually, upload files via drag-and-drop, and download files directly to your local machine, all over the existing secure SSH connection.

Live Server Metrics

Real-time CPU, memory, and disk usage.

Stop running `htop` in a separate tab just to monitor load. SSHDock runs a lightweight background polling mechanism over the SSH channel to fetch CPU utilization, memory consumption, and disk space availability. These metrics are displayed unobtrusively in the terminal's top status bar, giving you instant observability.

Mobile-Optimized Keyboard

Soft-key toolbar with Ctrl, ESC, and Tab.

Managing servers from a phone or tablet is notoriously difficult because mobile keyboards lack essential terminal keys. SSHDock detects mobile environments and provides a persistent, on-screen soft-key bar that gives you immediate access to Ctrl, Alt, ESC, Tab, and arrow keys. Finally, you can easily Ctrl+C out of a runaway process from your iPad.

Ready to upgrade your workflow?

Stop installing terminal apps. Open a secure shell from any device instantly.
