About SSHDock
I built SSHDock because I kept running into the same problem: I needed to SSH into a server from a device that either could not install native software or where installing it was not practical. Chromebooks, borrowed laptops, university lab computers, an iPad while traveling — the standard answer ("just install PuTTY or use Termius") did not work for any of them.
I have been managing Linux servers since I was in school, starting with shared hosting environments and moving to VPS setups on DigitalOcean and AWS. Over that time I developed a working understanding of SSH internals: the key exchange protocol, Ed25519 vs RSA trade-offs, bastion host architectures, port forwarding patterns, and the specific ways server configurations break in practice (not just in documentation).
SSHDock is the tool I wished existed. Every article on this site is written from direct experience: the troubleshooting guides come from problems I have actually debugged, the comparison articles come from tools I have actually used, and the setup guides reflect configurations I have actually deployed.
